Accounting, I hate you.

I've never cried so much for a course before.
And these tears are no joke.
Be it the course or the teacher teaching the course;
i still hate accounting.

It's okay, I'll do better!

Do you ever tell yourself this, but only end up to find that you're doing worse instead? Like when you're really confident about a certain assignment, and you think you're going to get high marks for it, but when the marks come back it's A LOT lower than what you had originally thought? It's always like that for me, it's like a jinx myself without knowing or something.
I must admit, this year is a lot harder than any other year in the past. There's too much homework, especially accounting... There's so much I don't understand. So much that confuses me. Math doesn't help either. I'm almost at the point of wanting to throw everything in the air and running away from reality. The reality of homework. The reality of school. The reality of being a student. The reality of being me. I just want to disappear. But no, I can't. Because if I do, I will surely fail all that I've put my efforts into. Although I want to give up, I can't. Maybe there's hope... Maybe I can do a bit better.... Maybe if I try a little harder it'll eventually go up... but right now, I don't see that happening.

--For now I can only keep trying.

I must be CRAZY.

Because I just got another blog-like thingy on livejournal. I think I have too many opened at the moment. Haha.Of course I shall still be writing here. :3 but visit me on my other one sometimes too? ;D Orrrrr you can join me. P: whichever floats your boat~

Lucky Science

Staying up until 2 and 3 for biology almost everyday, I feel that I was about to faint. But all credits go to my friend who had basically worked on the whole thing. She did most of the writing and editing. Kudos to her. What was I able to do? Sit there and watch her while helping once in a while. Thank you, Jasmine, for doing so much.
Thankfully when we were presenting today, I think God knew that Jasmine worked hard, so we were able to get away with presenting in front of the whole class. See, the teacher had originally wanted to walk around the class and see us present. Sadly, we didn't make it to the board to sign up when we wanted to go in time, so we went first. But thankfully we did because the teacher decided that the class was too loud and told the rest of the groups to present in front of the whole class.

So we got lucky. Thank you Lord. For being with us and knowing that we needed a break. Jasmine more.

BRACES... you're history. (:

So today was the long awaited day... THE DAY I FINALLY GET MY BRACES OFF AFTER 3 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS. Yes.
To be honest, I was quite nervous before the appointed time. I kept looking at the time over and over again.

anyway, time skip to a few hours later.
BRACES ARE OFF. YESHHHH. it's like... so smooth. with and without retainers. XD But i still have a massive over bite. -sad face- oh well, what can you do? SO I ATE GUM FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 3 YEARS<3 it felt nice. (: and ate hard stuff... and my first meal after i got braces off was HUGE because of my dad's fellowship thing. I ate loads.. I was a pig (:
I still have my old habits with when I had braces though. I'd try and poke through the holes of the brace. P: I KEPT MY BRACES BY THE WAY. Just because I could and for memory. (:

SO GOODBYE, DON'T CRY AND; SMILE~♪
bye braces. (:

Day 8 - Last day [Home sweet home]

Sunday, August 28, 2011

Woke up early in the morning today. It was time to say goodbye to the places I've visited. It was all fun, and I'm sure that I'll remember all the beautiful things I've seen for the past week. I'll definitely remember the memories I've created with my parents.

Today's breakfast was delicious. The setting was nice and the food that they served were delicious as well. Our very last meal in the maritime before coming back. IT WAS A MEAL TO REMEMBER! After eating, it was around 6:30; 5:30 in Ontario. So we were on a role. (: ish. Packed up, left the hotel and said goodbye to the lovely places and we were on our way back to Ontario! We went back to EST time by the time we got to Quebec, thankfully. I didn't really like the other time, but it wasn't bad either. I just kept getting confused because only my cell was set to Maritime time... maritime time.. time time time. keke.

Anyway.
Some last few things to think about before i left:
how all the places I've been to have a lot of mountains... and they were beautiful.
how there were so many tall people... ;A; both genders.
and how it's hard to find asian people.... LOOL.
All my observations. (:

And now, it's time to go.
THANK YOU FOR READING MY ADVENTURE FOR THE PAST 8 DAYS.
Sorry for typing so much. ^^'
but i hope you enjoyed the pictures.
I'm keeping these pictures in memory. And in computer. LOL.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Day 7 - Fredericton&Grand Falls, NB [Edmunston, NB]

Saturday, August 27, 2011

Today, for breakfast, we ate at Tim Horton's. Why? Well, Howard Johnson doesn't have free breakfast. CHEH. They have a restaurant, but they don't provide conventional breakfast. It's okay, I think Tim Horton's is better anyway. 8) Fattening and load of calories, but what else can we do? :/

So first thing in the morning, my parents wanted to go to another market in Saint John. No kidding, I'm not even surprised anymore. The market was called.... City Market, or something. It's just like St. Lawrence Market, except the things they sold were different... St. Lawrence Market is just... raw food, food, City Market is raw food, food... well, it's basically the same thing but I find that City Market is still different. ): I saw a lot of accessories and jewellries and they were made out of things you would throw out! o; For example, there was this wallet made out of those kool-aid juice... bag.... thing. It looked pretty good too. (: Basically they recycled. Good for them! Then there was the seafood section, you know... where they sell fish and stuff. I saw this... baby octopus. I thought it was fake at first from a glance, but it looked too slimey to be fake. It stared at me while I was taking a picture! D: I'm kidding, it's already dead anyway. In the market they sold Fresh Dulse. What are dulse, you ask? They're like seafood, but they're not seafood. They're a type of vegetable that takes root on grows and grows at low tide. They're hand picked and sun dried. You can eat it right after you buy them, and to be honest I didn't like it at first because I thought it tasted like the sea. But while in the car with not much to eat, I've grown to like it a bit.... but it still tasted like the sea. ): Well, the taste is like the smell of the sea. Shrimply fresh. (like my pun? ;D yes? no? no?.. okay fine.)

So then we went to Fredericton!... and of course, they happened to past by another city market and what better way to see it but park and go in to see for ourselves? -,- tch. They were selling different foods outside, and inside they sold those... handmade arts and crafts and flowers. My dad got hungry so he went to buy a hotdog, and we also bought some corn. 13 for $8, and the corns were BIG. Well, I can't really see the difference, but my mom said it was big. We also bought these blueberries, specially used for making pies and wine? They sold blueberry wine at the stall too, but my parents didn't buy it. We bought the blueberries and they were SMALL. I'm not even kidding, they're smaller than your average blueberries you could buy in a supermarket. But surprisingly, they were sweet, and didn't taste sour at all. They were all soft too. I guess they are specially used for making pies and wine and those other things. But guess what else we saw? ;D Lobster rolls!!! 1 for $10! It was being sold AND they were showing you how it's made. awesomeee.

Before leaving Fredericton to go to Grand Falls, we stopped by sobeys to buy our lunch. YES. Not going to fast food restaurants where the food is all oily and fat and..... ): but good food from the supermarket! ;D We got chicken, ceaser salad, these... other salad things, and bread. In the end, the tastiest meals are the ones you buy from the supermarket and put them together to make a meal yourself. XD Self-control with the calories and nutritions and stuff and stuff and stuff. Gotta watch my health even if I am young. Anyway, when we got to Grand Falls, which was around 3, we sat down for some nomnoms and began to eat and honestly, it actually was the tastiest meal! While eating, we heard many screams coming from the Zip Zag ride which takes you from one side of the fall to the next, and then you walk a bit and you ride back. My parents kept telling me to try it but NO. It looked too scary. D: And it's so high up from the ground.... scratch that, from the WATER. Yeah, I don't think I'm going to go on that thing. Even though it's supposedly safe, but it's still scary.

Anyway, tonight we're staying in Days Inn... which is pretty much by the highway... .___. It's not bad though, I'd say it pretty. (8 The room is quite big; very spacious. It looks quite antique as well, a bit old, and..... castle like? ish? maybe??

We went to visit the downtown area of Edmundston to see how it's like, there wasn't much. But we happened to see a Cathedral and took pictures of it. It's BIG. And really pretty. During the time we went, there happened to be a Mass Hour service thing, so my mom went in. I never went in. ROFL to me, it seemed more like the "you go in and you never come out!" type, but of course it's just some fantasy thinking. My mom said it was really beautifully decorated inside. We walked out towards the other side of the road, and there happened to be some motorcyclist visitors from Quebec, I would guess.... since they spoke French. They started talking to my dad. LOL. They were like "Bonjour!" and said some other random things. My dad, being his usual self, started talking some gibberish as well. XD The woman that got off looked at my dad for a second when she got off and asked "Tu parle francais?" and my dad was like "no, tu parle anglais?" LOL it was so funny. (: My dad said that was the only thing he understood (which was a good thing too. XD After 16 years of listening to my dad say it, it's finally of some use). The woman was like "oh, okay okay." she thought about what she wanted to say... then dad told her we were visitors too and she was like "OHHH. OKAY. OKAY. You have good vacation!" and then they left. Oh man, that was some jokes moment. (: It made my day.

Then we came back. Didn't really eat dinner, just ate cup noodles again. (: oolong mein! from korea. LOL. That's pretty much all for tonight.

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY.
I had a lot of fun this week with my parents, going around places and taking many pictures! Long rides and time in car, but I think it's all worth it. (: It'll be a long time the next time I come... but if I ever do come again, I'd like to come with friends...... or anyone. I don't want to come alone. @____@; Tomorrow morning I leave right after eating. I'll miss my trip, but I look forward to seeing my home again. Not just my home, my school, friends... I look forward to registration day and the day I get my braces off! Which is in a few days. (8 Lovely, I start school without braces, but I'll still have braces when I take my picture for my ID card. -,- -note to self: don't show teeth. :) -

CIAO! See all you ontario-ians soon! ;D

Day 6 - Hopewell RockS [St. John, NB]

Friday, August 26, 2011

Today, was probably our best breakfast compared to all the other days. They included yogurt, bacon and scrambled eggs! ;D I'm not sure, but it seems like our breakfast is always getting better. But I can't quite say that yet since we still have 2 more hotels to stay at. Perhaps Quality Inn will be the best hotel, but that's just my thought.

Valooooom, we setted off at around 9 and headed off to our 3 hour ride to Hopewell Rocks. My mom wanted to see it. We said goodbye to Nova Scotia as we entered New Brunswick. I'll always remember how the roads go up and down and how there are so many turns and twists. :S Sometimes you'd even stop in the middle of an uphill or a downhill. It was fun, nonetheless, at Nova Scotia. On the road, we saw a trailer... pickup truck... thing carrying a yellow boat that said "Miramichi Surveyor". Dad thought it said Supervisor and started going on about how a supervisor could be on a boat... -sweatdrop- then I corrected him.... but i pronounced Miramichi was miramichee. Apparently my dad didn't like it and apparently it's pronounced miramiki. =3= well, i like saying MIRAMICHEEEEEEE.

Have you ever eaten a Bounty chocolate bar? They're delicious. -drool- Coconut sheds on the inside and then a milky chocolate cover on the outside. It's like the perfect combination!!! Not really, but it's still delicious. (: I like any chocolate so mehh. But I took one out to eat. ): and they had 2 in a pack, and one of them got smooooshed. ;A; not too badly though. I enjoyed the taste of the smushed coconut anyway. ;D Yummy yummy in my tummy. Go try some Bounty! -free advertisement-

WASHROOM BREAK. No, we didn't get to Hopewell Rocks yet, but it's time for a washroom break anyway. So we stopped by a gas station (that had A&W nearby) and filled up our gas, then we went for our washroom break. ): no offense but I walked in there and it was like a stink bomb. I'm not saying that all A&Ws are like that, it was probably just that one, but the horrid smell that went up my nose was like.... D: ugh. I was glad when I finally came out. >o<" no offense. A&W burgers are still good! ;D There was a 2 teen burgers for $6!.... but we didn't get it. Heh heh. (I forgots to mention yesterday, when we ate our chinesey dindin, we passed by McD's and happened to see a McLobster sandwich, sub thing on a poster. 8) It looked good. Never tried it though. Don't think we'd have any McLobsters in Ontario, do we?

We reached Hopewell Rocks and remember how I said we were taking pictures of a rock... with a hole in it? Well, this place is also full of rocks... except we have to pay to see the rocks. ROFL. But no, it's not just any rock. It's not a rock with a hole in it either. They're rocks by Fundy Bay, which kind of started to be washed away from the high tides. It's a beautiful place actually. Ish. The rocks have different types of rocks sticking in them. I think it's more like rocks and soil combined to form the big rock, and then on top of these humongo rocks are many trees. The roots of the trees don't go into the rocks, but it's more like they spread along the top of the rocks. I think it's kind of cool. Some trees are just about ready to fall. There are many seaweeds on top of the rocks, and by many.... I mean MANY. But these types of seaweed are different from the type you would eat. And sometimes, among the seaweeds and rocks, there are little.... according to my mother, shellfishes. They don't look like shellfish to me. In romanized mandarin, it's "luo". So after being down by fundy bay for an hour, we decided we've taken enough pictures and that it was time to go back up. Just to let you guys know, LOL. There are 2 signs before you go down. One telling you the time you can go down and when you MUST be back up, otherwise you may be trapped by the tides. The other one tells you that you need to take care and what happens if you happened to be trapped by fundy bay during the tides. I'm sorry, but the instructions they tell you to do if you so happened to come across being trapped by the tides was pretty funny. Anyway, after our 1 hour walk down by fundy bay and being inside Hopewell Rocks area, we were just about ready to leave and go back to our hotel.

BUT OH LOOK. We came across another fish market, so of course my parents had to see it. According to my mother, there was a LARGE large large large large lobster for $45, and we actually saw someone eat it. To tell you the truth, it's actually really big. |: Bigger than the ones we've eaten while we were here anyway. The claws were like... the size of the lobster body we ate! Or around there. My dad wanted to buy one, but pshhh he was just hungry. So we went to a nearby shop and bought a Lobster Roll that we've wanted to try, and a fried clam dinner. But you know, the lobster roll was far from what I've expected it to be.. in a kind of bad way. When I say "Lobster Roll".... what do you think? I don't know about you, but I thought springroll... except, bigger and it had lobster in it. Okay, what do you think of when I tell you lobster roll for $13? ;o many pieces, right? Unfortunately, what a lobster roll for $13 really is, is what I saw on the poster at McD's... a McLobster. LOL. It's just some sandwich with those salad leaves and lobster bits on top. And there was only one. Don't know about chu, but I found it a bit disappointing, but it was still tasty!

After feeding our hunger, we were on the road again! This time, towards our hotel for sure. Asked my mom what hotel we were staying at AND OH BOY. It's Howard Johnson. ): Not that it's bad.... it's just that the internet in the first Howard Johnson we stayed in was horrible... and to be honest, the internet here isn't exactly the best either. But at least how it is right now is a lot better than how it started off. Anyway, parents took a nap while I watched television and at 7 we left again. -sigh- in and out and in and out.

We stopped by the Reversing Falls that I heard is quite well known in Saint John, New Brunswick. It's just that at a particular time, the waves go backwards; the opposite way of how it's supposed to be. Ohhhhh, so cool..... I think the cool part was going in a restaurant/information booth thing and seeing 4 GIANT SPIDERS ABOVE THE DOOR BY THE SIGN. I'm kidding... about it being cool. I'm not kidding when I say I saw the spiders though. At first i only saw one... and it was coming down too, from the sign. So I rushed into the restaurant since my parents went in too. Then, when we came out, i rushed past it and looked up to find the spider that I saw earlier. -whew- found it, it went back up. OH NO WAIT. THERE'S ANOTHER... wait, THERE'S 2... no... 3... THERE'S 4 IN TOTAL?! ): They were just crawling around on their web. ); oh my gosh</3 There's also a lot of bugs there... mosquitoes and some flies.. and these insects that I don't know... but I saw 3 of them stuck in my mom's hair. ;A; I can tell you, I wasn't quiet about it either. I immediately checked for my hair too... you know, just in case something was in my hair. Luckily my hair was bundled up.

We walked up a few from the reversing falls and then we saw... THE SUN. It was a brilliant beautiful bright orange. (: then there were the smoke... coming from factories. ): THE POLLUTIONNNNNN.

For dinner, we ate Chinesey din din again. My mom felt bad because there was no one inside, so she wanted to go and be a customer. The food wasn't bad.... I think I may of preferred yesterday's Chinesey dindin, but it was still pretty good. Got some soup, mapo tofu, and those.... beef and veggie thing. With rice of course. Talk about no customers, there were a few people that came in and out for take out. Even though there were no customers sitting inside, there were plenty take outs.

Back in the hotel, we didn't do much other than dealing with the internet.... my dad even made a complaint but according to the service people, we were the only ones to ever complain about the internet. With nothing to say, my dad hung up. LOL. Main thing is that it works now! 8) so it's all good. allllllllll goood.

KK. night peoples.

Day 5 - Halifax, NS [Dartmouth, NS]

Thursday, August 25, 2011

This morning, something extremely frightening happened. You can let your mind go wild, because I won't be telling you. (: But my parents and I woke up at around 4:30 and wasn't able to go back to sleep until around 4:45 because of this incident. So I mean, it's reasonable we slept in until around 7:30, right? ;D Anyway, breakfast in the hotel we stayed at started at 8, so it's all good. The breakfast area was big! It was a lot bigger than the past 2 hotels we stayed at. They provided more food for us too. I'd say that the hotel we stayed at was a good place. (: Too bad the business there isn't so good; or so the manager explains. I think the place is rather nice.

the ferry.
Anyway, at around 9:30 we setted off towards the Wood Island Ferry Terminal which would take us (and our car) to Nova Scotia! There were a lot of people on the ship, and a lot of vehicles that come in all different sizes, and different places. P: The trip was about 75 minutes, but compared to classes in school, the ferry felt a whole lot shorter. ;A; Some people even brought their dog in the ferry ride. XD I even saw one person bring in their cat too. Pets are adorable. One person's dog was afraid to go down the stairs so the owner picked them up and brought them down. I thought to myself, "what a very nice owner".

red road!
12:49, the ferry arrived at the terminal in Nova Scotia and off we went! Have you ever seen the highway road red? Yeah, it was blushing for me. :) HAHAHA I'm kidding. The stones they used to make the highway was red. I heard they used to do that in Toronto, but not any more. While on the highway, it's like first it's red and then BAM, suddenly there's a line where the red road stops and it's all black, and then BAM, it changes to red again. Sometimes you'd find that the highway on your side is red and on the other side it's black. But then again, Nova Scotia isn't the only place where you see red roads. I think the soil here is also red. I must like red for always talking about red. It's not even that unique anymore since I keep talking about it. heh. You know what colour the soil should be in Ontario? Blue, yes. Blue. That would be cool.

hotel room.
hotel
We headed towards Dartmouth, to Quality Inn. It's so nice in here! They literally supplied you with everything. They give you a TV, microwave, fridge, wifi, and they have those DVD things. How nice. (: We're on the top floor too! ;o even better. XD to some point, at least.

the bridge to halifax
... what it says on the sign.
We crossed a bridge from Dartmouth to Halifax. Had to pay $1, to and back. We headed off towards Halifax Citadel. It's really high up. :S I was quite tired by the time I made it to the top. But it's because I'm not so fit. P: heh heh. Yeah! Unfortunately we didn't go inside though. We only put in 40 minutes for parking for the car, and we didn't want to pay to go in anyway. I don't really know what the Halifax Citadel is anyway... I managed to see them switch guards and watch some random hollering back and forth though! Didn't quite catch what they were saying though.

market
gelato (;
Forget the Citadel, my parents came across another farmer's market. >o<" what did we do? Pay for parking and went in of course. But it was pretty much closing time!! So now what? Walked a bit anway, but many stores were closed and empty. OH! I saw some GELATO. (: -wink wink teenie- looked good. ;o We were getting hungry, and we just so happened to see a fish and chip shop. Heck load of oil. But ate it nonetheless, after absorbing some oil off with a tissue of course. I wouldn't say it's delicious, but it wasn't bad either. It managed to keep my hunger down just a bit. Besides, it wasn't time for dinner at 5 anyway.

some guy.
teh wave.
To burn off the fat!.... no, I'm kidding. We had another hour left, so we went for a walk on the platforms and pavement along the waterside. There were a lot of private properties that randomly stick out farther towards the water. I also saw this guy. LOL. What guy. A guy pulling some things other people ride in. Yesterday, I saw a horse carriage thing, today I see a guy pulling some cart. I didn't manage to capture it when I saw him again, but he flew up so that the chair rocked to the very back and he was basically in the sky on the bar. Then he came back down. Man, dangerous. I would've been scared if i was riding. I also came across some built wave beside a store... Or information center, whatever that building was. There happened to be someone on it and people waking under it, so I'm like "teh wave gonna nomnom you!" LOL, I was just being a kid.

faint rainbow
peggy's cove
THEN THERE WAS PEGGY'S COVE TO VISIT. My long lost sister. I kid, it's a place where there are loads and loads of rocks and sometimes the waves from the Atlantic Ocean would splash against it. We got there around 7, thinking it was late... but when we left, there were still a lot of people coming. There was also a light house there, called the Peggy Point Lighthouse... or something like that. It's a beautiful place with beautiful scenery. I'm not even joking. WE ALSO HAPPENED TO SEE ANOTHER RAINBOW. Slightly fainter than the first one we saw days ago, but it's still pretty. At the same time, there was also a sunset. Omgsh the sunset was so pretty. Actually, is it even a sunset? LOL I don't really see the sun......... But I think the moon was out. It was all behind the clouds. BUT STILL BEE-YOU-TI-FUL.
sunset(?)

8:30, we got back to Halifax for some CHINESEY DINDIN. We ate it like a nom nom nom nom. It was quite tasty. ;o soup, fried rice and Cantonese Chow Mein! 8D The waitress there was really nice too. (: She had gooooood manners. I'd give her tipsy, but I don't make money (yet...) and I wasn't the one paying. P:

meh soup.
meh food.
Anyway, today was a good, busy day. Hope the weather in Ontario is a lot better now!
Kay, it's time to go.
Goodnight all!
Jacqueline out.

PS. The license plate... I shall upload them when I have more time to blur out the numbers and letters and etc.

Day 4 - Charlottetown, PEI [Mayfield PEI]

Wednesday, August 24, 2011

Woot! Managed to get an extra hour's sleep today. :'D slept in until 7:15~ went down for breakfast as usual. Except... the place was so small! D: There were only 4 chairs against one long table... that was against the wall. The good news is that there were eggs to eat! ;D So I enjoyed y fruit loop cereal that I had for 3 mornings straight again and then ate my scrumptious egg! We also saw this other Chinese family from Ontario! We were like "a Chinese family from Ontario! We should say hi" but of course... LOL we didn't.

IT'S FLOATING OKAY?! D8
I'd say we left our hotel at around 8:15 and started off to PEI, which took about 2 hours to get to. The trip isn't as long compared to when we went to other places, but it was still long! But alas, we saw it! The confederation bridge that takes from from New Brunswick to PEI. (8 It's REALLY long and occasionally you'd see seagulls floating at the side of the bridge. I think they're trying to fly. They look like it, but they also look like they're hardly moving. Just floating and gliging at the side. I thought it was cute though.

I took a picture of the license plates in PEI. They have pictures on them! D8 that's cool. (: but omgsh I saw one from Alberta! Kudos to that person for driving so far! I will show you guys the picture of the license plate tomorrow because it's getting late now. Of course, I'll blur out the letters and numbers. That will take some time too. XD So wait up! :)

We decided to stop by the gift shops at the front of the confederation bridge at the PEI side. There was an Anne of the Green Gable statue outside with a large stuffed lobster! I named him Larry. (: Larry the Lobster. He's cute. XD his back and the part behind his claws are really red. The original colour he's supposed to be, before the sun took the colour out of him. D: Lol, anyway, we bought a few things. Some things I wonder why my parents bought but doesn't matter. It was pretty cheap anyway. I saw these... shells called the Sand Dollar. The story behind these shells were really interesting, so I bought two. Because I wanted to see how it looked cracked. Apparently they said if you crack it open, there will be 5 replicas of some dove. the funny part while we were in the gift shop was that suddenly there was this sea of Asian people coming in through the back. My parents and I were like "EH?!" and then we figured it was from the tour bus outside. And all they bought were the potato chips. the people are the store had to go and get more boxes of the chips. Some people even took 4 or 5 bags of these... chips. Wonder why they came only for the chips... but because we saw them buy it, we bought it too, wondering why they bought i! ;D And well........ they aren't bad! :)

But enough time at the gift shops! We had to get going to Charlottetown!! So we left and on the way there, we saw some red things on the road, so my dad was like "Hey! What's what? OH! They're crabs!" then my mom was like "oh my gos they're crabs!" I didn't really see much but it did look a bit like crabs. But my dad started laughing and told my mom he was joking and that they were tree bark.... things. My mom went silent and dad started laughing again. LoL well, it was pretty funny. (:

My parents saw a sign that would lead you to Victoria on the sea. So they took the time to change directions and straighted to Victoria. When we were able to see the sea, we got out of the car and dear goodness the smell. x.x" It smelled like the sea, which technically was. P: But you could see the soil. t was red as well! To be honest, PEI's soil is all red. So it's not just New Brunswick. They're products and grass and trees seem really healthy too! Hmmmmm. Could it be because of the red soil? ;o maybe....

We went to downtown in Charlottetown. And you can forget the person who came from Alberta. Well, not really.... but I found someone who came from BRITISH COLUMBIA! My goodness. anyway, the traffic light in PEI is so different from Ontario. The red lights are squares, the yellow is a rhombus and the green is just a circle. And it's horizontal too! Now, why don't we have something like that? It's all circles. Che. The bus is cute too! It's not like those city buses... The buses here are pretty much like those trolley cars. ;o I saw a green one too. It was ALL green. Looked like some vegetable. P: Tat's not all, I also saw the horse carriage thing. I know I know, there's a whole bunch of those everywhere too, but whatever! D: the horse was pretty. I wanted to take a picture of the horse. :)

Again, the place we parked was really near the city hall and beside it was a fire hall. But the unique part was that they displayed the old fire truck of Charlottetown! And man, it looked good. BD smoking hot red firetruck. Well, no not really smoking hot red but close enough. Wanna know how the garbage looks in PEI? ;o yeah. (: it looks neat. XD as in neat and neat. :)

For lunch, we ate hot dog! This isn't really the normal hot dog you'd eat at home or find in Toronto downtown. this was like... some other random type of hot dog. I got the normal bun, but they had those pita ones too. My parents ate those instead. The hot dog was pretty good. It tasted a little sweet, but that's what was hinted in the name of the sausage anyway. But you know what I noticed after walking around downtown? that many people here are quite tall; both genders. Maybe I should come here and get a boyfriend when I'm older. ;D LOL, I'm kidding.

And thennnnnnnnnnnn. We visited the local market. Some farmer's market thing. It was pretty small inside, but there was a variety of things inside. They sold food, flowers, accessories, and other things. They coolest thing inside was probably the framed rocks. What's so cool about rocks again? Didn't take a picture but they created a picture using rocks. It was so unique and very inspiring. With rocks, they made bunnies and drew trees around. There was also a family one, small rocks as heads and larger rocks as body. I'm not sure if it's worth it, but they were $90. There was one that was $200 and it was sold when I saw it. I guess in a way it's worth it since it's not something someone comes up with so often. But still. $90? P:

Then we went to some........ I actually don't quite know what it is. It's like, another seafood market. There's this mini store, it's more like a fishing boat trip where they take you out for 3 hours to fish and you get to keep all the fish you and them catch. It's a pretty good deal. They usually catch mackerels. But no, we didn't take it. What are we going to do with the fishes? We can't really cook it since we're in a hotel thing. Bring it home? pshhhhhh. It'll go bad by the time we get home. I saw many seagulls lined up though.

picture of a picture. couldn't get a real one.
ANYWAY, it was almost 3 and we had to check in at the hotel/resort before 3, otherwise we pay extra fees.... i think. The manager is Korean. ;D oh hohoho. I thought the place is really nice!! Except... the business isn't so good. ): they have an indoor swimming pool and tennis court... they also have a small playground. XD It's HUGE.... from the outside at least. But still, I think there should be more people coming here! I'd say this has been open for some time though, the room looks a bit old... not old as in 'ewwwww' old, but like the antique kind of old.

After checking in, we left the hotel again and headed for the place you HAVE to go to when you come to PEI; Green Gable! When I was younger, I always thought that 'Anne of Green Gable' was like... American or English. Never did I think it was from Canada. XD But yeah, it was a beautiful place. :) It's like.... a dream come true to see the REAL place of Green Gable. I've always loved the cartoon version of Anne of Green Gable you'd find on TV. I actually don't know the real story behind it, but I bought the book from their gift shop so I shall read it and find out! And maybe read the other books..... from the library. They also had the barn and the woods! Ohhhh, the woods. (: It wasn't as creepy looking as it sounds, but LOL, whatever. I find it so hard to imagine that I managed to see the Green Gable. *0* I wonder how she actually looked. P: I meant her face, i know she had red braided hair with a straw hat. But I wonder how tall she was, how her face looked.... It's all too long ago though. But we got lucky. (: before leaving, we were able to take a picture with some random fake Anne of Green Gable. [You can't fool meh! D;] I also managed to get myself 2 mosquito [i think] bites on my head when i went in the trails. ): We bought this.... Raspberry Cordial drink. Anne of Green Gable brand. ;D I'm not sure what's so famous about it though. LOOL, whether they drank it when they were alive or some random other information. Parents didn't enjoy it though, said it tasted like medicine. I thought it was pretty good! Fizzy. :)

BUT THE GOOD PART FOR TODAY. Ohhhh, our restaurant lobster dinner at "Fisherman's Wharf Lobster Suppers". It was fresh. Expensive, but definitely fresh. The place was decorations in the place was beautiful too! Like, omgsh. (: lodge-y. The main course; lobster. Better than what we ate last night. By a lot. The person selling the ready cooked lobster said the lobsters were fresh. I don't think they're actually fresh. They had a lot of water in it, and hardly and meat. The lobsters at the restaurant was the real deal! Best restaurant in PEI! I'm exaggerating. But our old neighbour recommended that place since her mom was born in PEI and they'd go back to PEI once in a while.

the free buffet part. :)
lobster's not free. ;A;

Anyway, came back to our hotel and took a shower. I think it's the people above us, but JEEZ. D8 they are LOUD. They keep walking around and their walks are heavy. you could hear every step they took and when they stop.
Time to sleep!
Jacqueline out.
