Today, for breakfast, we ate at Tim Horton's. Why? Well, Howard Johnson doesn't have free breakfast. CHEH. They have a restaurant, but they don't provide conventional breakfast. It's okay, I think Tim Horton's is better anyway. 8) Fattening and load of calories, but what else can we do? :/

So first thing in the morning, my parents wanted to go to another market in Saint John. No kidding, I'm not even surprised anymore. The market was called.... City Market, or something. It's just like St. Lawrence Market, except the things they sold were different... St. Lawrence Market is just... raw food, food, City Market is raw food, food... well, it's basically the same thing but I find that City Market is still different. ): I saw a lot of accessories and jewellries and they were made out of things you would throw out! o; For example, there was this wallet made out of those kool-aid juice... bag.... thing. It looked pretty good too. (: Basically they recycled. Good for them! Then there was the seafood section, you know... where they sell fish and stuff. I saw this... baby octopus. I thought it was fake at first from a glance, but it looked too slimey to be fake. It stared at me while I was taking a picture! D: I'm kidding, it's already dead anyway. In the market they sold Fresh Dulse. What are dulse, you ask? They're like seafood, but they're not seafood. They're a type of vegetable that takes root on grows and grows at low tide. They're hand picked and sun dried. You can eat it right after you buy them, and to be honest I didn't like it at first because I thought it tasted like the sea. But while in the car with not much to eat, I've grown to like it a bit.... but it still tasted like the sea. ): Well, the taste is like the smell of the sea. Shrimply fresh. (like my pun? ;D yes? no? no?.. okay fine.)

So then we went to Fredericton!... and of course, they happened to past by another city market and what better way to see it but park and go in to see for ourselves? -,- tch. They were selling different foods outside, and inside they sold those... handmade arts and crafts and flowers. My dad got hungry so he went to buy a hotdog, and we also bought some corn. 13 for $8, and the corns were BIG. Well, I can't really see the difference, but my mom said it was big. We also bought these blueberries, specially used for making pies and wine? They sold blueberry wine at the stall too, but my parents didn't buy it. We bought the blueberries and they were SMALL. I'm not even kidding, they're smaller than your average blueberries you could buy in a supermarket. But surprisingly, they were sweet, and didn't taste sour at all. They were all soft too. I guess they are specially used for making pies and wine and those other things. But guess what else we saw? ;D Lobster rolls!!! 1 for $10! It was being sold AND they were showing you how it's made. awesomeee.

Before leaving Fredericton to go to Grand Falls, we stopped by sobeys to buy our lunch. YES. Not going to fast food restaurants where the food is all oily and fat and..... ): but good food from the supermarket! ;D We got chicken, ceaser salad, these... other salad things, and bread. In the end, the tastiest meals are the ones you buy from the supermarket and put them together to make a meal yourself. XD Self-control with the calories and nutritions and stuff and stuff and stuff. Gotta watch my health even if I am young. Anyway, when we got to Grand Falls, which was around 3, we sat down for some nomnoms and began to eat and honestly, it actually was the tastiest meal! While eating, we heard many screams coming from the Zip Zag ride which takes you from one side of the fall to the next, and then you walk a bit and you ride back. My parents kept telling me to try it but NO. It looked too scary. D: And it's so high up from the ground.... scratch that, from the WATER. Yeah, I don't think I'm going to go on that thing. Even though it's supposedly safe, but it's still scary.

Anyway, tonight we're staying in Days Inn... which is pretty much by the highway... .___. It's not bad though, I'd say it pretty. (8 The room is quite big; very spacious. It looks quite antique as well, a bit old, and..... castle like? ish? maybe??

We went to visit the downtown area of Edmundston to see how it's like, there wasn't much. But we happened to see a Cathedral and took pictures of it. It's BIG. And really pretty. During the time we went, there happened to be a Mass Hour service thing, so my mom went in. I never went in. ROFL to me, it seemed more like the "you go in and you never come out!" type, but of course it's just some fantasy thinking. My mom said it was really beautifully decorated inside. We walked out towards the other side of the road, and there happened to be some motorcyclist visitors from Quebec, I would guess.... since they spoke French. They started talking to my dad. LOL. They were like "Bonjour!" and said some other random things. My dad, being his usual self, started talking some gibberish as well. XD The woman that got off looked at my dad for a second when she got off and asked "Tu parle francais?" and my dad was like "no, tu parle anglais?" LOL it was so funny. (: My dad said that was the only thing he understood (which was a good thing too. XD After 16 years of listening to my dad say it, it's finally of some use). The woman was like "oh, okay okay." she thought about what she wanted to say... then dad told her we were visitors too and she was like "OHHH. OKAY. OKAY. You have good vacation!" and then they left. Oh man, that was some jokes moment. (: It made my day.
Then we came back. Didn't really eat dinner, just ate cup noodles again. (: oolong mein! from korea. LOL. That's pretty much all for tonight.
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY.
I had a lot of fun this week with my parents, going around places and taking many pictures! Long rides and time in car, but I think it's all worth it. (: It'll be a long time the next time I come... but if I ever do come again, I'd like to come with friends...... or anyone. I don't want to come alone. @____@; Tomorrow morning I leave right after eating. I'll miss my trip, but I look forward to seeing my home again. Not just my home, my school, friends... I look forward to registration day and the day I get my braces off! Which is in a few days. (8 Lovely, I start school without braces, but I'll still have braces when I take my picture for my ID card. -,- -note to self: don't show teeth. :) -
CIAO! See all you ontario-ians soon! ;D
Jacqueline out.
